She does NOT need to go on any talent program, to be patronized by over-paid dribbling leftists on television!
She IS the talent show!
She has taken a liability, and has worked past it. She has taught herself, and no little boy-king can say ‘You didn’t build that!’
The hoopsters were in shock. Here is a blind, white girl, belting out The National Anthem, from her heart, with a clearer, more solid soul and voice than ANY OF THOSE TRILLING, TREBLING non-white female singers, in all my 60 years of life.

Not to be rude, but I think you’re missing the point of those talent shows. Shows like American Idol are not all about talent, but about selling the competitive drama. It’s not the best singers that get onto the show to begin with, but those who would make for interesting television. Shows like “30 Seconds To Fame” get away from that a little by not doing much in the way of background, and relying more on audience opinions of the performances, but who they bring on are still a mix of people that the producers think you might enjoy (or cringe at).
And frankly, the fact that this post is titled “Blind Girl Sings National Anthem” is a symptom of that same sort of pandering. She has a lovely voice, but what you’ve been sold is her story. There’s nothing inherently liberal about that; it’s just pandering to the audience - and conservatives are just as vulnerable to that, as this demonstrates.
