You start in your own backyard. The problem is spiritual, so adress your spirit. I would start with a half an hour of Bible reading every morning from Genisis to Revelation. For the sake of ten rightious men, Sodom itself would have been saved, so for the sake of America, become a rightious man in all things.
On the night of August 21 1766, a terrifying storm broke over New York, a storm as vicious as any in living memory, and for those who saw omens in such unleashed from the elements--those familiar with the writings of the Roman historian Livy, say, or the plays of Shakespeare, of whom there were many--a night so violent seemed filled with portent.Chroniclers Philip Fithian, Ambrose Serle, and Pastor Shewkirk called it "a storm like a hurricane," "a most terrible storm," The most vehement I ever saw..."

"...the heavens became black as ink and from horizon to horizon the whole empyrean was ablaze with lightning."

"Houses burst into flames...Ten soldiers camped by the East River we killed in a single flash.

"A later report described how the tips of their swords and coins in their pockets had been melted, their bodies turned black as if roasted."
Great book...leaving no doubt that God was at work here.
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I fear the collective sin of those who think themselves to be Christian keeps us in hot water with the Lord. But, if all of us begin to pray more, and truly seek His face, God will hear from heaven - but I doubt he will 'heal' our land - it's too far gone. But, He will respond, just not in a way that too many might expect.
If I'm not sadly mistaken, we're not at all far from Christ's return to earth to take all Christians away just before 'all hell breaks loose' - in other words, the Great Tribulation is very near upon this earth.
I put myself on a “crap media” diet. I only watch the local news and sometimes a cooking show or two and instead read.
Psalm 144
King James Version (KJV)
144 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
5 Bow thy heavens, O Lord, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
(”strange CHILDREN”, indeed!)
ALL of government needs a thrashing...you’re right-we need a plan.
You are not alone.
I’ve been posting for some time that America’s only hope is to return to God.
What say you?
Well we need to be both doers and hearers of the Word.
1. If a Christian is not living the Christian life then do his/her words really hold any spiritual weight?
2. We also have to be prepared to standup for truth in the home, work and the general community.
.3 Evangelize, the change the western world needs is a change of the heart towards God and religion - if we do not evangelize then how will this happen short of His return and revelation.
