Now Wigan has two games to keep itself alive. Looks like a straight math exercise, they’re not playing the other possibles heads up. Stan Collymore had a nice comment today about how his late dad was a Wigan supporter.

Wigan seems to always be in this position and somehow manages to escape every year....it won’t be easy this time, though.

But that’s one of things I love about the EPL, the fight to avoid the drop.

I really wasn’t too excited about the match going in, but as it went on, and it looked like Wigan had a chance, I started really getting into it....City thoroughly deserved to be a man down, that tackle by Zabaleta should have been a straight red, if he didn’t already have a yellow. The goal was a beauty.

Yup, but Arsenal is a must win. That’s a tall order.

Congrats to Wigan on the win today, though. What a dramatic finish!
