Yeah,, she got in the middle of it, barely escaped, so she made her BF go “do something!” (wade into a hostile crowd of 40 angry, drunk, and stoned skaters) Her stupidity got that man almost killed, probably has all kinds of head injuries. And for what? To stop two the Jets and the Sharks from having a rumble.
And i got a bridge to sell you if you think she’ll be there to nurse him around for the rest of his life, especially if he is in a coma, a wheelchair, can’t speak, etc. She’ll make it into a drama about how she was the victim (lost her BF ya know) and leave him in her wake.

I kinda doubt that women universally have the power to make a man take on 40 yutes. More likely, a man says “What? Are you ok? You said there were gangs about to fight? Let’s get out of here.” I guess I have never dated men who could be ordered to take on 40 youths.
We don’t know how it transpired yet. Did he think he was approaching groups of harmless children? Did he have an adrenalin surge when she arrived badly shaken and charge out there? I don’t know women who want their loved one to take on gangs by themselves.

So blame the girl first, then the guy. Let the yutes off the hook. Well - I can’t say I agree. He may have heard that some boys chased her and went to check it out - but as soon as he was seen he was ‘target zero’. Actually once they chased her, the couples was going to have a hard time walking to their car unharmed. Really - most of us aren’t trained to handle 40 attackers. But - if you need to hate women then go for it - facts won’t slow you down.
I may be wrong but the wy I read it the woman intervened first and they “turned on her”. They have have struck her and thus he felt compelled to go out there and find out who hit her and retailiate. Who really knows? With those kind of numbers I would have just got the hell out of there.
