"....AMC has released this first look image of series star Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes -- with a walker notably lurking in the background -- to hype the new season. As if the biggest show on TV needs any more hype.

Fans curious to see what's going on with Carl, Daryl, Michonne and the rest -- not to mention where the heck the Governor is at -- will have to wait. But for now take a look at the full first look image......\

Just great.

Now even the Walking Dead is promoting the cross-dressing transgender crap!

The pic does not look like a spoiler to me, so I’m going to post it.

Didn't see that! What are you referring to?

See the pic at post #8. It just looks like a zombie to me. One wearing a dress and a jacket that’s too big.

Me too I want to know LOL. I read the article and I did not see anything about cross dressing. Must have been confused with the TV Show GLEE perhaps. =)

Well, still a stretch for me as far as cross dressing and transgender.

I respect your opinion, though.

So far, TWD has been pretty apolitical with the exception of Merle, who redeemed himself in the end.

No, I agree with you. I’m not seeing a transgender there.

Well, I liked it and I am waiting for the third season to come out. But on the bad side, watching every episode of the first two seasons this weekend, mostly all together, I find that they are always just wandering off and getting into trouble for no reason. (As usual for the zombie genre) Maybe if I watched it once a week I wouldn't notice so much.

Nearly every show has someone wandering off without telling anyone, then everyone having to look around for them. They even have to go look for the guy that went looking for the other guy that wandered off. The worst was when the farmer wandered off to get drunk and didn't tell anyone, then Rick and Glen wandered off to find the farmer, which caused Rick's wife to wander off to find Rick, which caused Shane to wander off to find her. That's four levels deep of people wandering off.

Some proposed dialog:

"What happened to Silvia?"

"She wandered off and got killed."

"Damn! What happened to Dale?"

"He wandered off and got killed."

"Damn! If only there were some way of stopping us from getting killed so much."

Its a good show, and I especially liked the pilot. But as with every zombie movie, I end up thinking about what they really should be doing, instead of what they are doing.

it could be a woman who died with a man’s coat on - before dying trying to stay warm, or needing clothing that was left around.

Absolutely!

Even a fashion statement. Clothes do not have the same meaning they used to have.

Yeah, that’s conceivable. They could use a bigger budget to do some massive zombie-ness. Though, I have to hand it to them for that first season when they were in the city with the zombie horde.

As for the picture, it almost looks like Lori, for one, and secondly, it almost looks CGI’ed. Like it’s morphing from Lori into another zombie? I don’t know. It’s very odd.
