IF (and a big IF at that) this is true, I suspect the Syrians are getting a lot more help from the Russians than is being acknowledged.

If this did occur, as reported on 5/2/13, that would suggest the Israeli strikes on Syria on 5/3 were more retaliatory than preemptive.
