Is it me or does this read as if he was going to collect insurance money this afternoon in San Mateo County Superior Court?

apparently “journalism schools” no longer teach composition. Or how to write. Or how to compose and write a comprehensible sentence. Or anything of substance.

I looked it up. Poisoning is the most common method of female suicide, but it’s only 37.4%, so it’s hardly uncommon for another method to be used. I would imagine that only people with some familiarity with fire arms use that method. 56% of male suicides are with fire arms.

The gun was fired 4 times. It isn't entirely clear if there were other wounds other than the 2 head shots plus Parineh had residue on his clothing and face. A little suspicious yeah I'd say so.

While it's probably as the jury decided, I can picture the first shot not quite doing the job and a reflexive spasm causing the second shot. Especially if the gun has a light trigger.

That said, I can picture a lot of improbable things, like 20 more Ted Cruz clones being added to the Congress next election cycle and us taking over the Senate with a filibuster-proof majority...

In reading the psychology of female suicides they/we don't want to disfigure the face.

I don’t know if this is still true, but I also read that women who jumped off bridges etc. would take their coat and sometimes shoes off and neatly fold the coat before they jump.
