I moved down to care for my dad. I have been a Christian for over 30 years. Always very active helping others. I attended one of the largest, richest baptist church there.
My father was in and out of the hospital alot. He was also in Dialysis and wound care. If I was not at work, I was taking him somewhere or caring for him somehow.
At a point where I was so overwhelmed, I thought I was gonna crack, I asked the church if they could provide 2 meals a week for my dad so I could have some down time.
IT NEVER happened. I called the Jr. Pastor back 3 weeks later and asked, Is my request being followed up on? he said they could not find anyone yet. Though a lady there told me there was a BIG donor, who a year ago had to call the church and tell them to please STOP sending meals to his home because they were not in need anymore because they were getting so many.
She obviously never shopped at HEB and she obviously messed with Texans. If you try to change Texas, it will kick you out.
