Mostly I have read about it. I have occasionally laid down plastic and carboard over that just to kill weeds, and that worked ok.
My back patio is sunny from 11am to sundown. I have put stuff on a tarp and put plastic over it to cook the devil out of it. Then I throw it in the compost heap.
Hubby burned his garden one year. Then covered it with black plastic, but I forget what he was trying to kill. I quess it worked, because the next year he had a great harvest of corn.
I sure can’t find time to be on the computer every day, and you always seem to be making lots more progress than I do.
Nice looking spread you have there. Your weather is even more challenging than we have in Missouri. At least we are in the fifties this week.
So did we. Lucky lucky lucky is right. We have had a steady rain since early evening here today.
I was rushing around trying to get some more stuff planted before the rain, and got sprinkled on a bit.

I have some more that we picked and will try to post some pictures soon. The brandywines are getting huge and still not ripe!
