Not as bad as Vista, but it's no XP.
7 is a 100X better than XP in every way. Don’t bash it because your ancient apps don’t work on it. The biggest thing with moving to 7 is your file system will no longer fall apart within 6 months of imaging. You don’t need continual maintenance to keep it healthy.
One Win7 64 pro, one 32 personal upgrade from Vista. Both have been solid. You probably do more than I do with a machine, but I do more than an average user.
