It is interesting sometimes how often a software problem turns out to be a hardware problem.
A good portion of what friends and relatives bring me to look at are hardware problems, except for the malware and virus crap, which is their or more likely their kids fault.
Sometimes they are also capable of outstandingly botching up a new program install.
