The Iberian subduction will gradually pull Iberia towards the United States over approximately 220 million years."I don't want no damn white Eur-o-pee-ans comin' over and messin' with what Barack's gettin' done here! For the first time, I'm proud of this country!"

As Global Warming loses its cachet and is discredited will this be the new sky-is-falling hysteria? It would be an interesting one, and based on something that is probably really true and will severely affect coastal environment in only a few hundred million years. If we don't prepare it will suddenly be upon us and we will all get crushed!
