As Global Warming loses its cachet and is discredited will this be the new sky-is-falling hysteria? It would be an interesting one, and based on something that is probably really true and will severely affect coastal environment in only a few hundred million years. If we don't prepare it will suddenly be upon us and we will all get crushed!

Maybe what we need is a sea level canal in Nicaragua
to let the two oceans reach equalibrum, kind of balance

They'll really have to raise our taxes, borrow more money from everyone else on Earth, and confiscate all profits from everyone to prevent THIS from happening!
