Grew up in nearby suburb of Atlanta schools in the late 70’s and through the 80’s. Pretty much sums up my experience.
Yes and the same problems exist in the Metro Atlanta school system. One of my friends taught here for years and her experiences mirrored this article. Then she moved back to NJ and it was even worse up there. Thankfully she retired this year. I have no earthly idea how she endured it.
Here they bus the black kids into the upper middle class white neighborhood schools and then the whites who live in those neighborhoods send their kids to private school. If you are driving by the schools when the kids get out you would think its an all black neighborhood.
