In my misspent youth, we used to refer to Grain Belt as Pain Belt.
Try the Heineken Premium Import Lager in the green 12 oz bottles, brewed and bottled in Holland.
You’re probably drinking those aluminum canned stuff.
The last six I bought were in the green bottles. They were not the original Heineken. I have wasted a cent on any more. I gave five bottles away since I only drink one on rare occasions and wouldn’t waste the ritual on lousy lager.
don’t forget the peanuts,,salted in the shells
LOL I did. Thanks!
That beer was good in a frosted glass.
I drank Efes Pilsen cold, cool, warm and hot for over a year. So I can drink any beer and be happy.
The only problem; beer goggles...back in the day (whew).

The bridge is going over the L.A. River, ugggh,
I’m a big fan of their “Beer” and “Lord Chesterfield Ale” but both are difficult to find outside of PA. The Black and Tan and sometimes their Stout is available in NY and NJ in some shops.
Rolling Rock had some financial issues and sold to one of the big Canadian breweries. They changed the recipe, which was an absolute disaster for the typical pony drinker. Gone was that hint of malt, replaced by an overpowering bitterness. It's a wonder they stayed afloat as long as they did but eventually the brewery was closed. The name was sold to one of our national swill bottlers and they crank it out of a Jersey factory.
Boy, there was nothing better on a Summers' day than packing 48 ponies in fish ice, getting together with a couple friends, and turning on a ball game.
They packed a pints worth of alcohol into those ponys too. I think. :)
It really had a unique flavor.
