The Duke is my favorite actor , but Cagney comes in second for late night viewing .
Yep. You can never go wrong with the Duke. I’ve probably watched ‘The Sons of Katie Elder’ 30 times and I’ll watch it another 30 times. Another of my favorites is ‘Trouble Along The Way’ where Wayne plays a football coach who gets hired by a Catholic college (which is not called Notre Dame in the movie, but is obviously what it’s supposed to be). If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. Wayne was a great actor even when it wasn’t a western or a war movie.
