>>They know better than to act like that in Texas<<

Where you been? They do act like this in Texas. In fact, up in the Montgomery area it's a big big problem.

They will ride in the lane two and three deep on double yellow lines where you cannot pass them.

Up in this area, there are gradual hills and curvy rodes. Sometimes it's damn near impossible to get around them without jeopardizing yourself with possible oncoming traffic over a hill or around a curve.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm not a fan. Most cyclist are cool, but there are a few jerks that just want to prove a point.

That's another reason why northern liberals need to pass a civics literacy test before they're allowed in Texas.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was conceived here in 1943. Since life begins as conception, I am a native Texan. Because of my father's death shortly thereafter in WWII, my mother had to move in with relatives in Pennsylvania where, sadly, my birth certificate shows that state. Yech. Nevertheless, when I moved back here to what I call "home" several decades back, I fully adopted all Texas values and eliminated any trace of a Yankee accent.

And sure, I do ride a bike on occasion but not on the road. Roads were made for trucks as I see it. And cars are OK as long as they don't look like this!
