Socialism Lite being replaced by Socialism Classic
Everyone that has looked at Medicare knows that more money is going out than is going in.
However high your premium is, however low doctors believe the payments to them are, that still doesn't change the fact that Medicare is losing money.
The difference is being made up in taxes and deficit spending. That will only work for so long.
As I have already said, then cancel the program altogether and stop charging me for it... I can face it as a man!

Medicare covers the retired and elderly, Medicaid covers the poor. Those that remain are the working and/or young to middle aged uninsured.
A large portion of the later group might choose not to be covered even though the option is available to them. They might be young and “invincible” and figure they’ll just pay out of pocket since they are healthy. Really no crisis here with these folks because they choose to not be covered. The rest?
