No problem. Actually earlier in the conversation with police there was some talk from the officers asking George to get out and follow him, and George said “I don’t really want to do that.” He was already expressing some anxiety about actually following the person.

Also note, when he got out of his car, he did not immediately draw his weapon. If he was actually stalking and hunting Trayvon like the prosecution tried to paint him doing, that would have been the FIRST thing he would have done after getting out of his truck. You don’t hunt or stalk empty handed, you wind up getting caught off-guard. And considering they spent a great deal of time telling us of all his training he had, it is illogical he would have forgotten to do this first critical step (arm yourself) if he actually was hunting Trayvon down.

I really appreciate the timeline of events that you listed. And thanks to everyone else who provided thoughtful answers. Thanks.

This is why I posited the question here on this forum because there have been live-threads including many people following the trial intently who’d know the answer. Where my understanding has not been correct, it is very good to know what the facts really are. To my sadness, some have assumed my innocent question provocative; which is not my intent. I work very long days and do not have the time to follow these events. I have been on FR since 2002.
