Reminds me of that old 1968 James Coburn flick, The President's Analyst. The part where he visits that family and the father is played by William Daniels, who keeps going on about how "I support the President because he's a Liberal. And I'm a Liberal! And, after all, these are very Liberal times." Coburn then goes on to find a gun tucked in nearly every corner of his house.

Uhh, I don’t have a cleft chin and I don’t use makeup and I ain’t gay.

OOps! I was wrong. He did an arrangement of a lot of cop show themes for an album (had it as a kid) in 1976. My mistake.

That sounds all to accurate for the People’s Republic of Hawaii.

As you know by now Morton Stevens wrote the theme, which has been my ringtone for years.
He did a cameo in an episode from the third season (I think). As plain a bald middle aged white guy as you could imagine.

Back in the 80’s American Rifleman had a profile on this fellow. Classic wealthy ‘progressive’ entertainment type. Dripped contempt for average Americans and gun owners. I no longer am willing to give any leeway or benefit of the doubt to liberal statists, alive or dead.

The Mulford Act was a 1967 California bill prohibiting the public carrying of loaded firearms.
I had supposed this legislation was in response to the Black Panthers invasion of the California legislative chambers while open carrying a wide array of perfectly legal rifles and shotguns. At the time there was nothing illegal in the act (which happened in 1966 if memory serves) and none of the Panthers could be prosecuted.

I never got into H50 or the streets of SF. Barney miller was the closest to a real cop show.
