Most of the time someone will say the police won’t enforce tyrannical laws.

Police won’t enforce what kinds of laws? Here in Colorado, as Governor Hickenlooper signed into law the two unconstituional gun control laws that 58 of the 63 elected sheriffs are suing the state over, he promsed that the new laws wouldn't be enforced.
