Pickens... (a 76 year old)resident(with arthritis) Judy Gardner said the citation for the Georgia DNR issued her a citation for hunting out of season... that she had no intentions of killing the black bear she felt was threatening her safety.

I guess we don’t even have SYG laws when it applies to dangerous animals.
People in power are almost always corrupt and should be regarded with disdain.

The article doesn’t say if she has children, but I know that she has grown children since they are well known in this community. BTW, well known as a good group of people.
In GA, bears are considered cubs until they weigh 75 pounds.
