If we can't elect congressmen to do the right things, what hope is there that we would elect convention delegates to do the right things?

Damn right. I don't trust the Commie 'Rats and limp-writsted, pants-wetting Pubbies we now have in office with the Constitution, much less with wiping the slate clean and having a Con-Con. At least the Constitution has a few safeguards that are still respected; with a Con-Con, all bets are off.
