He talked about carrying her up and down stairs. We essentially had our cat on hospice as we sometimes helped her eat and drink and carried her. Saki reanimated several times during her last couple of months.
Our cat is 20. Over the last year she has really slowed down but is so affectionate. At bed time she comes and gathers me up if I am watching TV and meows till I head off to bed...she sleeps on my arm. We know the end is coming soon for her statistically and medically. I am not so sure I want to go down this road again so we may be former pet carers. Her sister died last year and while not was affectionate as this one we still miss her.
