Oprah's "education" is mind-numbingly nonexistent.
After bragging about knowing "her history" and the history of blacks, oops, I mean "african Americans," Oprah goes on to say... 1. Can't use the n word around her because that is the last word that MILLIONS of people heard as they swung from a tree. Really? Millions? 2. Back in the 60s, blacks didn't say "niggah, please," they said "negro, please." Who has ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever heard one black say to another black, "negro, please"?
Lynching was horrible, and not to minimize the history of same. But “millions” were not lynched. Someone posted some statistics on that subject, and the number was in the thousands, nowhere near millions.
Every innocent life taken is to be mourned, but, do facts matter at all???? Or are we racist if we take exception to something said by the likes of Oprah Winfrey????
Ignorance is contagious, dependent only on credibility, which is not, of course, the same as credible.
Oprah (if that is her real name) is "incredible."

I REMEMBER that... Some black dem congress type made that claim about the oceans. CLEARLY that man had NEVER been on the open ocean; to see its unfathomable size would quickly disabuse him of the notion that such a thing was possible. Then again.... The brain power of the guy might... Well, you know.
Many blacks think that hundreds of millions of blacks were taken from Africa, though the best scholarship finds the number closer to about 15 million.
You know, I do recall that once or twice now that you mention it, but the point remains that black were not saying this to each other in the 60s.
1. Wonder what was the last word said to blacks when another black (from a different tribe in africa) sold him into slavery?
2. Wonder what was the first word was to the fist white union soldier that newly freed black slaves said?
Liberals are so easily swayed by pretty words, catch phrases and shiny, pretty objects.
And every single one of those was initially captured and sold by a black man.
Amazes me how someone like oprah, who made billions because WHITE, STAY AT HOME MOMS, watched her show as if their lives depended on it, can be so damn dumb.

Lynchings weren’t even very much racial. They were political.
About 1,200 some odd blacks were hung. Lesser known is that around 1,100 WHITES were also hung during the same time frame.
The common denominator? They were ALL republican.
The lynchings were to discourage black folk from being republican.
From what I’ve gleaned from the news stories of that day.
Also, the LAST known lynching was circa 1925. None later.
