War is hell. The Brotherhood should pack up their stuff and leave Syria. Assad is fighting terrorists from all over the Middle East, NOT his own people.

Let’s remember that famous Napalm Kid photo turned out not to depict the work of those first blamed for it.

Motorcycle accident and the gas tank blew? I saw one in the mid-70’s... clothing simiprotected some of the skin, the worst was the neck, under the chin and face... see the second guy which is the second pic, the driver. The first guy/first pic is the passenger, which is why his underwear didn't burn

I see your point about dictators using Nationalism to inspire people, but I don't get why Obama would want to take out Iran as his ultimate goal, after all, it is his closest advisors birth place.
Iran is an enemy of Israel, hence Obama and Susan Rice's potential ally under the "responsibility to protect" doctrine.
I do understand that Syria is a proxy if Iran and Russia, and that part has me a bit baffled as to why we're after Al Assad.
This is one huge tangled web, sorting it out is very difficult especially when it's seeming impossible to sort out the truth.

I don’t think the leftovers in the Communist party are beholding to anyone outside the US. They have their own goals and I bet this war has been in the works for a very long time.

In all recorded history there is nothing to indicate ANY action of an outside force will suppress these barely human morons constant clan fights. Certainly not lobbing a few missiles.
Let them kill as many of each other as possible then if the fighting ever stops, let us know who won, not that it will make any difference as the all are too inferior to join modern civilization.
This is exactly like trying to teach a pig to sing, It wastes you time and annoys the pig.

I have over the last few years become very pessimistic and skeptical, so much so that I do not trust my eyes.
Is that my own fault?

I think you’re right, there are a lot of forces trying to achieve their power...MB, NWO, Commies...in the end, we pay the price.

Obama’s strategy is to install the Muslim Brotherhood in as many countries as he can. Egypt, Libya, now Syria. The pattern is clear.

BS. We had Iran completely surrounded from multiple points not 10 years agoGood point, we (gaack, obama) could have supported the Green Revolution in Iran, he didn't do so.
The fact he didn't is very telling.

Where in the name of God would Assad get Napalm? I hope you are kidding.
I can make "close enough" Napalm with stuff I have in my house and garage. It isn't that hard.

Plese note that the lion’s share of the “rebels” are imported mercenaries, not Syrian citizens.

You are right, but this is also supported by guys the Republican leadership. I think they think these guys can be controlled because they are uneducated in everything except for Allah. A little kissy kissy between Abedin and Hillary not withstanding.

Not too sure on that, but Syria is definitely NOT in the “Middle East,” it is in the NEAR east, just like Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
The difference is huge, whether you realize it or not. The pwople of the near east are shemitic, while the people of the middle east are mostly caucasian. While they both call themselves muzzies, the near easters are Sunni, and the middle easters are not. Most of our difficulties have been fostered by Wahabi sunnis.

What most people don't realize is how many lethal and down right horrific weapons you can make from commonly available items.
If there ever is a SHTF scenario bullet wounds are going to be the least of people's concerns.

This could easily be the rebels using the WMD from Iraq to gain Western support in their fight against Assad.
