Beck came out for this for Libertarian reasons some time ago but I didn’t think it was more than sort of a one shot deal and influence by S.E. Cupp. I haven’t heard Beck since make a big deal out of this and listen to him fairly often. I thought Beck was misled about this or maybe just did it as a sort of stunt.
If one is interested, I think the National Review did an article titled something like “Why Beck is wrong”, all this is from at least 6 months ago.
Cupp is a tapeworm on the right. She infects, and then people think she’s some kind of intellectual.
