Libertarianism describes an idealized world where everyone lives happily ever after. A libertarian world where children are free to experience sex and drugs (they have the same rights as adults to libertarians, they pretend this isn’t true unless they are honest, I have had debates before and they will eventually come right out and say that kiddie porn is art and should be decriminalized) at their hearts content because for some reason parents have lost the ability to instill good values.

Those who try to instill contrary values will have to be punished, of course. If someone comes along and think homosexuality is bad, they must be punished. Since there is no “state” in libertarianism the punishment will come by the mob. First they will shun you, then they will ostracise you and stop letting you into their shops. Sooner or later, of course, you will have to be dealt with permanently. You are a destabalizing influence.

it is their own form of political correctness and they are just as hostile to Christian morality as the homosexual radicals and far left.

It’s nearly identical to leftism except for - supposedly - the economic component. I say supposedly because if you actually listen to their philosophy they will quickly go into marxian territory once they begin to amass any real influence. That people own the product of their labor, not their employer. It is inevitable that libertarianism will take that turn, the libertarianism philosophy pretty much demands it.

Taken as a whole the libertarian philosophy cannot possibly lead to a civilized society. Civilization requires civilized people and libertarians would reject the very notion that people should be civilized. Instead they are free to do as they please without restraint. Unless they are moral people, then they need to be punished.

You cannot possibly make a workable civilization from libertarianism, not any more than you can make a civilized society from communism, atheism, “liberalism” or anything else that rejects the very idea of morality.

Ask and ye shall receive. I have just learned an aspect of utopianism I had never thought of before. Great post, thank you very much.
