His personal life was nondescript and off the radar until he hooked up with Farrow. Who knows why he would turn around and made a public spectacle of himself. I think he was sending Farrow a huge message in “Hannah” about his true feeling towards her and, consciously or subconsciously, ending up acting them out.
I think he's a strange little man but I love many of his films.

I think you’re right about that. Some thought there were some sentiments about Mia in Blue Jasmine.
The wife that had a habit of looking the other way when it was convenient for her, then when she was about to be inconvenienced blew the whistle.
