I loved my iPhone 3Gs - maybe it was a 3G, to be honest I can’t recall for sure. But when that iOS4 went on there, it started taking literally 30+ seconds to open apps, and the phone would crash at least once a day, if not more. It wasn’t just me, as I had a coworker with the same issue.
I love my Nokia, and I think it is a superior product in some ways, but I am frustrated by the number of times I see “install app on your Android or iOS device”, with no mention of Windows Phone. So I may at some point switch to Android.
My wife did - it worked better when using iTunes rather than the OTA update.
On my 4S, I had a glitch with my keyboard freezing up. To fix that if it happens to you, go to the General page of Settings and “Reset All Settings”. You’ll have to reapply your setting, of course, after it reboots, but it does fix the problem.
iTunes needs to be at 11.1 for the iOS 7 install. Try downloading direct from apple.com, maybe?
Yeah, I’m kinda cheesed off.
Woke up early to go wait for the shop to open and get a couple of iPhone 5S’s, and they didn’t have any shipped yet.
Now, I gotta wait.
But on the plus side, I finally had an encounter with law enforcement while CCWing:

Totally weird. I have two old 3GS phones that the kids are using essentially as slightly bulky iPod Touch devices (no cell/3G service), and they're running iOS 6 (latest) just fine. They can't update to iOS 7, of course, but not bad for a 4+ year old phone.
Well, my 30 year old daughter loves it; I am totally confused. Where is the tutorial??
