I like to put a spoonful or two of maple syrup into a glass of water and mix it up.

It's an interesting drink.

Maybe it's just me, but the water diluting the syrup seems to expose a bunch of complex flavors that get masked by the sweetness when straight.

I'd drink it all the time if maple syrup weren't so pricey.
