Considering that the USPS is forced by Congress to support government spending through excessive funding of future retiree health benefits, it would be only fair if they could notify Congress that they are short of cash. UPS, FedEx or any private corporation would also be suffering under such a ridiculous burden.

Yup, you got it right, unlike many freepers.

And if the USPS did shut down, we would go bankrupt in one week, as we are a mail-order cottage industry whose very existence is dependent upon being able to mail stuff to our customers.
