Pit bulls are not really terriers. They are mostly bulldog. Bull terriers and such don’t really fit the true terrier mold except for the prey drive. Their drive really pales beside that of a true terrier that has not been bred for show. Nothing has a stronger drive than a Jack Russell. A Jack on a mission is truly a sight to behold.

BS. An American pit bull terrier is, by definition, a terrier. Like Chet, many of you don’t know what you’re talking about when it comes to ‘bully dogs.’ You run on emotion, like liberals.
