Every once in a while I just have to have a little trans-fat...and I don't want any government or advocacy group stopping LJS, KFC, McDonald's, or anyone else from making me good food...sheesh!! (I wonder if that's what happened to Arthur Treacher's?? They made the best fish and chips, SIGH)

I have no reason to doubt their data, but Long John Silver’s food is among the worst. Seriously, it has no redeeming value. Bottom line, it is poorly prepared and tastes awful
We just went to a local LJS’s Friday. Food was good but the obama supporters working there were acting like, well, obama supporters. Our last visit now knowing that LJS’s is owned by a leftist.
I learned about LJS being owned by leftards so I boycott it. The only time I actually eat fish and chips is when I go back to canada.

A liberal anti-food group. They were the ones that went on the “saturated fat” crusade in the 1980’s then went on to crusade against trans-fats in the 1990s’s and now want to ban all fried foods. They want “organic” produce, veggies and fruits, only to enter you mouth, no meats, dairy, or any animal based foods of any kind.

I used to like Long John Silvers as well as Captain D’s. I don’t guess I have eaten at either since around 1985. I do recall their fish used to be Cod instead of Haddock.

Ditto that. Fish with the vinegar is a big thumbs up but the rest is awful. Can't stand the fries, the slaw or the hush puppies. Ha, the article thinks it has to explain that hush puppies are fried cornmeal batter as if anyone doesn't know that. I make a mean hush puppy!
