President Barack Obama is very worried about the faulty rollout of his signature health care program and will take blame for it during remarks on Monday, the Associated Press White House Correspondent Julia Pace said Sunday.
Pace, making an appearance on Fox News Sunday, was asked by host Chris Wallace about the mood inside the White House.
As someone who covers the White House, how worried are they about whats going on here? Wallace asked.
The White House is very worried about this, Pace said. They spent a lot of time and money on this program, and you cant say this has been anything short of embarrassing for the president.
Hes going to come out on Monday. Hes going to address these problems, she continued. I dont know how specific he is going to get, but I think this sort of going to be a mea culpa for the president.
You expect him really to say we messed up here? Wallace asked.
I think hes going to have to, Pace answered. If he comes out and says anything other than that, hes just going to be ripped apart by the media, by the press.
Pace is the reporter who on Saturday broke news that nearly half-a-million people have applied for, but not enrolled, in Obamcare.
The president is widely expected to address the faulty rollout of his health care overhaul during remarks on Monday.
Never. Gonna. Happen.
Absolutely nothing is ever this guys fault.
If he speaks, it will be another chapter in his continuing series of attacks on republicans and the tea party. They are wholly to blame for all of the problems with his poor program.
Wrecking and sabotage by the Tea Party. Like under Stalin no proof will be needed.
Never-ever did the do-gooder crowd of the late 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, bite onto the bumper of the speeding truck which would deliver vital services which were being delivered thru private markets with 80% plus satisfaction. Services which provide us with the most basic quality of life healthcare happens to be uncharted territory of the left dreamers. After all, we are not Chad refugees walking ten miles to get a polio and tetnus shot because we have no access otherwise? At least not yet.
Obama bit onto the bumper of this speeding truck of a program and promised he knew where it was going. He still has both jaws hanging on and is deeply regretting the ride. If he lets go he'll break his neck tumbling down the highway from the momentum of his promises. If he continues to hang on, it's his program alone. He can't blame the traffic or the people who built the truck.
You really almost have to feel sorry for the guy. He's like the teenager you have who has made decisions which you have surely seen as flawed, but yet have to let the teenager fail on their own as a learning experience. I just thought we would never elect the lesson lacking teenager as our president of the country before he understood failures of his own and of his mentors.
Martial law on Monday?
Some mea culpa: “Now let me make this perfectly clear, the problems we’re having are everybody’s fault... except mine”.
See my tagline.
Google “Republicans blamed for obamacare website failure” just for laughs.
as one who has graduated into a “Shovel Ready Project”, I resemble your remark.
Does of you youts’ know how it feels to have all the skills and wisdom of elder hood be rejected, because playing “Candy Crush” on Facebook is so much fun?
Beam me up, Scotty - (or where is the closest ice floe?)
He should be worried, unless its his goal to look like a gold plated, blue ribbon idiot.
The only thing that keeps me going is my children who are gifted with such intellect I cannot deny them grad school and law school costs. Then there is my red heeler who shares such a bond with me alone, she and I know each others thoughts and movements before ourselves. Our only areas of disagreement are over the swimming pool and allowing a cat in the house.
“Take the blame”? Who — Obama? LOL
This oughta be good. I can just hear Barry now...
“I take full responsibility for the fact that the dastardly Republicans rushed this administration to implement the health care act, while obstructing every positive and productive action we were doing to bring affordable health care to the American people.”
I remember having to listen to eight years of "Mister Bush" from the left wing press. It got to the point that they completely stopped calling him 'the President'.
I've never once heard the press refer to Obama as 'Mister'. The disgusting sycophants...
Not necessarily. He will come out, lie, and tell WTP he plans to focus like a lazer in doing his job for the American people. Of course, before one can do his job, one would need to know what that job description might be as well as what requirements were entailed.
Sarah Palin:
“In fact, these unusable Obamacare websites make a reasonable person wonder how this administration could have made such a colossal bungle of the rollout when they are, after all, the same savvy experts who had the most sophisticated and precise campaign websites ever built. They could pinpoint voters down to a city block, but they messed up a website that cost the government over $200 million more than it cost Apple to develop the first iPhone. Purposeful?”
I read many saying that Zer0 will try to blame the Republicans for the online disaster. I think if he tries that, the media will have a difficult job backing up his lie. I think the nation is waking up to this DemonRAT dog and pony show. I think the state run media is in damage control and knows it going to get worse.
That will be on top of your monthly permiums which will be a cash subsidy.
I wonder if Vegas has started a betting line on who he will blame.
You expect him really to say we messed up here? Wallace asked.
I think hes going to have to, Pace answered. If he comes out and says anything other than that, hes just going to be ripped apart by the media, by the press.
I could be wrong about this but when has the ‘press’ ever ripped Obama apart about ANYTHING?
Nah, he’ll just say he inherited Obamacare from the previous administration.
