My church has been approached by an ObamaCare "In-Person Counselor" who is "hoping we can work with community oriented organizations in the area in order to get assistance to people who have questions or need help enrolling in an insurance plan...." This guy goes on to say that our County Health Department has received grants to "offer this free service" to those "who are uninsured or unsure what their health coverage options now are."
I find it interesting that they are approaching houses of worship to host a "sales meeting" for the ACA - where is the outrage about the "separation of church and state"? Anyone else been contacted and what did you tell them?
I find this sort of program..to be rather tacky....innappropriate..and wildly TELLING.
the neo stalinists want contact with a CHURCH only when they can use to SELL thier “goods”
time to CLEAM EM out of the synagoge
But they've decided to play the Church as fools first apparently. Hopefully they won't take the bait.
“Separation of church and state. Separation of church and state.” Oh, Democrats are doing it. Nevermind.
I hope you explained to your pastor that if the church leadership allows it, you will be seeking another church.
I would even consider asking for time to speak on a Sunday morning.
I belong a to a lib parish so I think they’ll say yes but I;ll have to wait til’ after mass time to find out.
First blush is that they are somewhat desperate, and need to make numbers.
True Christian Believers are the one group that does not need obamacare...
Philippians 1:21
King James Version (KJV)
21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Visit My little ole church anytime ,,,
How does one know that it is not a scam artist?
Tell those demons to crawl back into hell where they came from.
The counselors can also help the members find abortion providers, or the best gay bars.
The church will need to go underground soon it seems at this rate.
Definitely a violation of the First Amendment. The old “separation of church and state” thingy.
sorry, separation of church and state like you always screech to us.
