Any person that is dependant on the state for his daily bread is a slave to the state; that person no longer has any right to or power to decide his own fate.

Making food a basic right will return civilization and government back to the days of Pharaoh’s Egypt where the potentate collected all of the produce of the farms and distributed the food stuff to the citizens. Do we really wish to return to the day when the state had total power over the citizen?
