Having been married three times, I'm somewhat of an expert on this subject.

Telling an angry woman to calm down is a good way to wake up in the hospital.

The best bet is to leave for a couple of years and see if she calms down on her own.

I tried this almost ten years ago. It didn’t work. At least I still get to keep almost half my paycheck.
