Less than three years after joining ABC in a lucrative and wide-ranging deal that included a daytime talk show and a role at ABC News, Katie Couric is negotiating an exit package, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The move comes as Couric is close to finalizing an extensive deal with Internet giant Yahoo, according to multiple sources.
Couric's daytime talk show is in its second and almost certainly final season on ABC. She will complete the season and sources at Disney-ABC insist that a decision about the future of Katie will not be made until sometime in December after executives get a look at the November sweeps ratings.

The woman has a poor track record. Never stays in a job for long. In my day, going from job to job didn’t look good on the resume.

She was a lightweight “perky” woman when she started out and still is, but a little less “perky” and more like a “turkey”.
Jumping from one lucrative contract after another reminds me of a prostitute moving from one corner to another, looking for higher paying “johns”.
So many people out of work or underemployed and this clown gets millions from stupid mainstream media networks, and now Yahoo.

I fail to understand why anyone would ever hire this proved failure. She Is a cancer and ratings nightmare everywhere she goes. It is a vast waste of money to hire this woman.
Note to TV and entertainment executives: It is not 1986 and what was once perky and cute is droopy and old!
