These are
graduate students which, at least when I was one, implies a level of competence and ability above that of a random undergraduate.
At the same time, these are graduate students in education. Those of us in the Engineering graduate school had a number of uncomplimentary (and accurate) observations regarding the academic prowess of Ed majors.
And don't even get me started on our opinion of journalism students.
