It hasn’t warmed much here but it is above freezing ... about 35.
Sounds like our cold snap is moving east ... probably get there just as you start to warm up. :(

That’s a shame, when they are soooo yummy! Trying to stay warm...it’s just now 25 degrees here. I called in at work. The roads were just too slick and crazy people having accidents all up and down them!

You made me hungry for shrimp. How does shellfish affect you? I know it's common to be allergic to it, but don't know anyone with the problem. How about this:

Even touching shrimp puts me into a life threatening reaction called Anaphylaxis.
I used to eat it and I loved it - until the allergy took over.
I have replaced shrimp with fried fish (dipped in shrimp cocktail sauce)
or deep fried calamari (especially from PF Changs!)

Sorry to horn in...so, with your shellfish allergy, you can eat calamari?? This is great news! My allergy popped up several years ago...after many years of enjoying (no, loving) shrimp, lobster... :-( I’ve stayed away from calamari as I wasn’t sure about it. Thanks.
