LOL, I know I tried to find others ways to say it, but couldn’t do it.
It’s very hard to pull off trendy. I guess that’s why those things remain “trends”.
The hot item a year or two ago was the cropped jacket, a really short jacket, stopping well short of the waist.
I saw one that year that looked good, on a gal in the elevator in my office building. She was very skinny, very long waisted, it was a nice looking jacket, and on her it looked like a million bucks. All the others I saw looked ridiculous.
I know what you mean. I’m no fashionista anymore but in my day, fat girls did not wear poof skirts that accentuated their behinds.
