I’ve actually lived in New York City all my life. I became a Colts fan back around 1970. As a kid I once drew a horseshoe my white football helmet with a blue magic marker (the helmets with authentic logos cost too much).

I had 2 jerseys: one, a blue Baltimore Colts #19 (Johnny U. of course), the other, a white with 36, for then Colts running back, Norm Bulaich.

Were you a Colts fan before they moved to Indy?

Amazing how many former Colts players wound up playing for Shula in Miami.

BTW, Peyton Manning is currently 25 for 28 passing in Denver vs Oakland! (89.3%) 266 yrds, 4 TDs!

Looks like Zona is SOL, even if they come back against the Niners.

"After playing college football at Texas Christian University, Bulaich was drafted in the first round (18th overall) in the 1970 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Colts, for whom he wore number 36.

The 6’1”, 217-pound running back/fullback held the Colts single-game rushing record, 198 yards against the New York Jets in 1971, until the 2000 season when Edgerrin James broke the record by rushing for 219 yards. Later that season, Bulaich was named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad. He was also on the cover of Sports Illustrated in the November issue in 1971.[1]

In 120 career games with the Baltimore Colts (1970–72), Philadelphia Eagles (1973–74) and Miami Dolphins (1975–79), Bulaich rushed for 3,362 yards and 30 touchdowns with a 4.1 rushing average. He also made 224 receptions for 1,766 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Bulaich currently works for IESI-BFC Ltd., a waste management company, in Haltom City, Texas."

Yep...Earl Morrall, Don Nottingham, Bulaich, Rick Volk, all played for Shula in Baltimore and in Miami.

Thanks. I tried for awhile to find the names of some of the players.

I remember the Colts players largely from an old vibrating football game me and my brother had. Remember those? They had tiny plastic tabs at the base of each player and a vibrating mechanism beneath the field. Sounds chaotic, but you could actually manipulate the tabs somewhat so that the players moved in the general direction you wanted them to. Pretty hilarious at times.

They came to town when I was really young, like six or seven, so I have no recollection of the Baltimore era - rather, I came of age during the Harbaugh-Marchibroda years. I was pretty torn up when Manning left, but I couldn’t be happier with where they are now. Go Horse!

I honestly don’t know what you’re referring to. Do you mean one or more of the photos? And if so, how does one know if a photo is copyrighted before posting it? Seriously, I don’t know. The only ones I do know that are are Getty and AP. But they aren’t always labeled as such.

“GO SEAHAWKS!!!!”

We won the game yesterday as well as home field during playoffs - whoo hoo to our NFC West Division champs!

Love Russell, Tate, Lynch, etc. but IMHO the offensive line needs to step up their game during the playoffs.
