Or Marine.
Sort of like SMEAC. One of those mnemonics that says with you forever.

When I play with gutters above ~7 ft off the ground, I take the time to erect and tear down scaffolding. Life is too short already...

Mentally, I had Blythe closer to Needles (and Searchlight) than it is.

Western Area Lower Colorado has a 161KV substation at Blythe.

Does anybody know where Art Bell is this day? Wonder if they'll mention this on the show? They just might. Who knows.
I love Kook to Kook for late-night driving and housework. It's great radio, totally off the wall and goofy.

When I play with gutters above ~7 ft off the ground, I take the time to erect and tear down scaffolding. Life is too short already... Since you mentioned it: any good references for cheap scaffolding along with cheap shipping? I need to be doing quite a bit of work on My mum's place soon and through all the next year so I was thinking that perhaps relying on her old wobbling-about ladder was not the most secure way of attempting to accomplish that. The sources I have seen so far though do not list it as at all cheap, unless you are a contractor and can write it off as a business expense perhaps.

I bit the bullet and bought some new a decade or more ago. It's earned its keep.
Given the medical deductibles associated with 0bamaDontCare, it's relatively cheap.
(I had tried building some with dimensional wood and surplus bolts, but a near tornado busted it all up. Plus I quickly found out the 5 or 6 ft stages were way easier to use than ~8 ft. ones. If I'm lucky, I get my kid to come over and help with the setups and teardowns - it's way faster with two peeps.)
