In the case of the Packers, when the notice to the season ticket holders went out, Rodgers was injured, the team was on a losing streak, and a division title looked highly improbable. Lucky for Green Bay, 8-7-1 is good enough for their pathetic division. There was no reason for them to tie up the money. Those tickets will sell out soon.

Lucky for Green Bay, 8-7-1 is good enough for their pathetic division. I think the record has to go to Seattle in 2010 when they took the NFC West with a 7-9 record.
