Why go out in the cold, deal with $10 beer, $150 tickets, when you can watch it on TV?
If the tickets were $10, they’d be gone.
don’t forget rediculous parking prices and bad overpriced food

“Why go out in the cold, deal with $10 beer, $150 tickets, when you can watch it on TV?”.......
Ever heard of “Black-Outs”? From my understanding, until the games are indeed sold out, the blackout order stands. No local area TV.
Exactly, I am not sure what is wrong in Indy though. I would think Cincinnati fans would be excited to be in the playoffs for the first time in like 30 years.
However, I did not go to last weeks Patriots game even though I had a free ticket because I did not want to sit outside in a monsoon.
You forgot parking and just the pain in driving to and from the game. It will be interesting IF people want to go to the Superbowl and sit outside.
You can periodically watch the game in between all the commericials. I’m pretty sure the average game has more commercials than coverage.
That’s what my husband said.I know the Eagles are sold out but they did put some tickets online for sale.Excited for the game.:)
NFL attendance has been declining for years. In addition to the costs, it is far more comfortable being at home in front of a large screen TV. You can even pause the action to take a bathroom break or get some food. And the replays and commentaries keep you more informed about what is happening.
I won't go to another NFL game. I enjoy football too much.
That's the bottom line I think....
Plus you have to wait in line to pee...you are warm, can drink cheap beer, and can pee off your balcony if you have to at home. Why do you think those TV commercial spots are so valuable? Now, if they can just get rid of the announcers!
No, I don't mind you taking a couple of seconds to probe through my cheap canvas bag to ensure I'm not carrying contraband. Yes, my wife refuses to throw away a $50 nice leather purse because you morons have instituted a new rule which has noting to do with safety and everything to do with theater.
...or simply be a Lions fan...and never have to worry about such things.
