The FCC is currently considering pulling the plug on the NFL Blackout Rule. Their reasoning is just dripping in class warfare rhetoric (tickets are too expensive for the Workin’ Man and the NFL remains obscenely profitable, yadda yadda)
Given the strides that have been made in televised-game production, the report found the National Football League has seen attendance drop by 4.5 percent since 2007 with as many as 20 of the leagues 32 teams making full-season tickets available on their Web site.
