A season ticket holder here in Seattle said he has rights to his seats, but he has to buy out the rest of the season. IOW, he buys all playoff games as if the team will play in the SB - then if they crap out he will get a refund. Pricey situation... Not sure about other teams.
In some sports, to ensure play off tickets in your season ticket spot, you have to pay for the following seasons regular season games first…..and in this economy, that can be tuff!!!
We had that situation in the Stanley Cup playoffs here in Carolina. Play off season is damned expensive for the fans.
