In the 1950`s our H.S, gym teacher would have us outdoor running thru the snow at 40 below in our gym shorts-

Heck, When the oil freezes up at 45 below, we just hitch up the gelding to the cutter `n off we go. We even pull cars outa the snow banks with the gelding `n the stallion tandem`d.

Heck we walked 4 miles to school thru the snow on dirt roads.

My mother in 1920`s and her sisters walked 6 miles to school in this 40 below weather.

We`re out there on a moonlit night tobagganing down the mountainside lean-swerving to avoid trees.

At this temperature of 40 below we’re excited coz the lake is dun froze over well good and our cars will spin nicely doing the ice twirlies.
