you are right, then they are wethers, mellowed and friendly better grade of mohair when sheared. Too many bucks cause nasty problems..

Geese are terrifying, too. We had Donna and Louise as goslings. Raised them for a year waiting for them to lay eggs and when that didn’t happen I googled and found out they were really a Don and a Lou.
Meanest and loudest animals ever so I sold them to a couple who wanted them as revenge for their neighbors raising guinea hens. HaHa Revenge geese!
I have been chased by geese too, spit at and chased several times. :)
We had chickens when I was a child and I was chased by a rooster that had spurs, that could have been bad. :(
